Joseph (Jayasurya) and Aparna (Aparna Gopinath) are a normal husband and wife family with two children (Aakash Muraleedheeran and Angelleena Rosshan) Aparna Gopinath. Joseph's son Aakash often gets into a lot of trouble and so his father Joseph, a mild tempered business man often scolds him for it. The children look at their parents very distantly because of their father's strictness. The two children are are the main characters of this film which is based on a real life incident. Sub Inspector R Gopakumar (Kunchacko Boban) is a police officer that later comes into the story. The film revolves around the adventures of the children and how they view adults.
A tailor falls in love with the girl next door, Sumathi. But her father, a log breaker, decides to marry her off to an NRI. Since it is inevitable to stop the marriage the tailor tried to commit suicide and and gets hospitalized. Surprisingly, the marriage comes to a halt.
